The beauty of this recipe is that it only requires 5 ingredients, you can serve it warm or cold, and it’s all blended together in the blender!
If you’re going to use coconut milk for this recipe, it’s important to use a pure coconut milk like this one, and not a coconut “beverage”.
You can serve these chocolate creams alone or with whipped cream and berries. At any rate, these creams won’t last very long!

I'm dying. It's snowing and I can't get to the store and I don't have the ingredients on hand to make these. It is a sad day indeed.
My mom and dad made Valentine's Day special for me and my sister. On the morning of Valentine's Day, my siser and I would find a gift at the end of the bed. It was so cute! Thanks for sharing this chocolate recipe. You literally had me at the 1st pic!

It looks absolutely great. I can't wait to try this. The recipes are not that hard to find and easy to make. Definitely a recipe to look up for. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe.:)
That chocolate is ultra silky smooth.. yum
I have so many egg yolks from all the macaroons I have been making…this is perfect! Thanks for the inspiration and our new friendship! x
Just found your website and lovin’ it. 🙂 Is no sweetener required at all in this recipe?
Thanks!
Right, there is no sweetener required. The sweetness will come from the sweetener in the chocolate.
Just made this for dessert tonight. I combined all my leftover chocolate chunks/chips from 4 different brands and it turned out great. Kids are dipping strawberries and bananas in it. Delicious!
Wow… this is VERY rich. Don’t eat it without whipped cream! And I suggest fresh whipped cream, not too sweet, to balance the chocolate.
I too have concerns with eggs. How do you know the eggs are safe raw?
If you’re buying organic and pastured eggs, then the yolks are considered safe to eat. I eat them daily! It’s the whites that you don’t want to eat raw.
I’m sort of a cooking newbie, but raw egg in the dessert? Is salmonella not a concern? Thanks for your help!
I want to know this too. Raw eggs???
The mixture is hot when you add them, so it “cooks” them when blended in. Even if it didn’t, organic raw egg yolks are a very healthy food to consume on a daily basis.
Hi … New to the site and love it. Just wanted to be sure I am reading the recipe correctly … you add 4 raw egg yolks to the blender of chocolate and simmered cream? No tempering or cooking of the egg yolks first, in the cream while it’s being heated on the stove?
Thanks!
Welcome! Yes, 4 eggs added to the blender is correct.
I might give this a try with “white chocolate”. I eat a diet low in oxalates because of kidney stones and cocoa is a no-no for me. I will report back here if I do make it, and how it turned out.
